Abraham Sapien(better known as Abe Sapien) is an Icthyo Sapien who belongs to Aguilar's(the first Ultima Icthyo Sapien) royal bloodline who is seen as a leader figure to the Elites as well as many more kingdoms and groups as well as the Western Icthyo Sapien Tribe.
He's known to be the most intelligent out of all the members of the Elites as well as one of the strongest. He'd been known to survive the impossible, one instance being when he was tortured by Scott Schmidt and Valentine where five of his fingers were removed, had his left leg amputated, and the majority of his internal organs being removed from his body. While he rarely survived the incident, his organs and fingers were recovered by Vivienne Lichen and were healed back together. However, his leg wasn't found and recovered at any point, leaving Abe with a prosthetic left leg for the rest of his life, although Abe didn't seem to mind saying that "it'll be a good battle scar".
Abe was also known for having Aguilar as his "Ultima Guardian", which is when a previous Ultima Icthyo Sapien's spirit transfers itself into an Icthyo Sapien who belongs to Aguilar's bloodline, acting like the victim's guide or conscience. When an Ultima Icthyo Sapien does this, the victim will then become an Ultima themselves. There's even cases including Abe and Aguilar where the "guardian" will possess the victim. However, Aguilar has learned to only possess Abe when he lets him like severe cases such as battles, signs of superiority to the rival tribes and groups, and to make Abe a stronger force when he goes against Zuba, who is also an Ultima.
